being a paranoia of growing old and needing to take a great care of myself, i choose to live healthily. (i notice a lot of my professional friends opt for this, despite its actually their decision to not get hitched!)
anyways, i do sports in moderation (i think) and eat healthily as much as i can.
for anyone asking me what is eating healthy, its about minimizing sugar intake (i read labels) and minimizing process food.
i make sure that i did not take more than 10% sugar in the cereals, drink etc, i read labels like mad.
i ate fast food once a month, and last month quota is domino pizza, this month was mcD. something like that.
if i have to eat pizza i rather eat tuna topping, than peperroni, coz sausage,is...a process food.
i wont settle for process noddle, etc, for the amount of by products in it is not worth the 5 minute pleasure of eating.
if i have to go mcD i eat the fried chicken (soak the oil out) rather than burgers, coz the fried chicken has bones like real chicken should, and the burgers are process meat.
i hardly eat bread except from a small bakery that made their own. factory like gardenia speed their process and put lotsa chemical to convert the yeast and flour to become dough. i hate it that i know these facts now that its killing me.
i eat oat for breakfast, rolled one. not the instant ones, coz the instant ones are badly process and has less fibre. why should i settle for less?
i prefer the vege as raw as possible. and if its drenched with oil or kuah with santan, dont bother. i rather eat nasi lemak than highly process food, thats when i settle for unprocess despite the calorie.
sadly today i ate mcD after a long while and my body reject the food so bad, it sucks to be living in a modern world and yet not immune to process food...
at this point, i know i need to find a midpoint in everything. so slowly, i have to welcome things that are common in these days. but yuck... i should not be complaining for there are ppl who doesnt even have food.
dangerously, we are living with poison in our food but we have to get used to it. like i said, im not complaining. i just rendering the options we have. and settling for what its worth for.
for its me to take care of myself. and you dont have to agree with me too.

their mystery, my mystery
death is always a mystery.
too many athletic fit people drop dead around me scares the hell out of me.
like you think about which grave you wish to be buried, in your kampung, near your parent housing area?
like when you are done and gone, would your twitter and blog and fb will be left alive?
like who's gonna clean the mess of those house, car purchases office cubicle that u have?
i live my day like im going to die tomorrow, i speak like its going to be my last word, did my work like a handover manner, i eat and savour like its my last meal, i want my friend to be a better person and better prepared for their mystery, i made friends with hope they will pray for my hereafter, for tomorrow i may die.
nothing like a death reminder to make you felt more alive.
al-fatihah to those that i missed. thank you for running beside me on my early days of running. i do, miss him. i may be sad we didnt spent more time, but i am glad we ever had it all.
so lie to me, and tell me you never thought about death.
too many athletic fit people drop dead around me scares the hell out of me.
its 4 and counting.. not that im expecting more.
will write a longer post on that soon. i need to educate others about this.
lie to me, tell me u never thot about death,
like when u passed by a grave yard you think about death
